The good is this is a large collection of character and monster art for the series. As some others have noted, there's very little else here. I think many of the other elements I was hoping for must have been contributed by other artists. It really would be nice for this series to get a more comprehensive treatment, but it terms of content, this is not a bad start.What's really let me down with this book, however, is its mediocre construction. I preordered this title the moment I saw it, so it was really disappointing that when it arrived it was moderately warped and had a loose front cover. I sent it back for a replacement and while the covers are more secure, this one is slightly warped as well. The whole book flexes and buckles in a way I've not experienced with a hardcover before. I have Viz Media's Nausicaa box set, and the bindings on those are perfect, so I know they're capable of doing it right if they want to.

Nothing wrong with the durability of this, but the pages themselves seem a bit bare-bones. I was expecting more text/descriptions for what I was looking at. I know this is an art book, not a strategy guide, but a little more text would make this perfect. As it is, my young child who loves Dragon Quest will enjoy this Christmas gift.

Wonderful collection of art from the beginning of dragon quest/warrior until now. Satisfied with this purchase, although I wish there was more art for DQXI; the Japanese cover for this art book had a nice holographic coating to it, which would have been nice to see on the US release.

Great collection of Toriyama’s artwork for the Dragon Quest/Warrior games (do you remember when it was the Dragon Warrior series? Congratulations, you’re old enough to have owned a NES—did you get the first game free from the Nintendo Fan Club, too?)A must-have for series fans, young or old.

It has a heaping amount of just about everything. The only real disappointment for me was the lack of DQV DS characters and character model arts. They have the original SNES and PS2 versions so that means Debora is out. They also lack blue and black haired versions of the kids. Other than that, it is a fantastic artbook.

All around a good book for fans it's an art book so if you are looking for a story book or a game guide this is not the book for you.

Hard cover book and it's all in English. Has a lot of juicy info about the development of every game. If your a fan of this series then you won't be disappointed.

His art style is just so beautiful and perfect. Lots of cool arts in this book.

Edmund Morris's "Theodore Rex" begins with William McKinley's assassination and Roosevelt's ascendancy to the presidency and continues through the end of T.R.'s second term with Taft's inauguration. Written in a prose style full of direct quotations, Morris's writing flows like a narrative. Morris's non-judgemental portrayal of personalities, which does not discriminate between his subjects' greater and lesser personality traits, coupled with the political intrigue of the era, makes for a fantastic true story.Having not yet read either of Morris's other Theodore Roosevelt biographies, I cannot judge how this volume fits into the series, but it is more than capable of standing on its own. Morris's research is exhaustive, with 169 pages of notes following his narrative for those interested in following his research. Though a later biography of Roosevelt's presidency may appear, this will remain a monumental work and a go-to volume for historians of T.R.'s time in the highest elected office in the United States.

This is the second in a three part biography of TR. I devoured Volume 1 and ordered this before I finished so I wouldn't have to stop. I have already purchased volume 3 even though I am only a couple hundred pages into volume 2. Wonderful research, superb writing. I am learning a lot about the history of my country within the context of a story about an amazing, brilliant energetic man. A man of his time, a man for the ages. We owe him a debt of gratitude.

This second book in the series by Edmund Morris on the life of Theodore Roosevelt focuses on his two terms as President of the United States. Roosevelt did not actually serve two terms as President, at least not as we recon it today. His first term was in his ascension to the Presidency when William McKinley was assassinated only six months into his second term. TR thus was elected in his own right as President to only one term. Recognizing the custom that a President only serve two terms in office, (the 22nd amendment limited the President to two terms had not been enacted yet) TR vowed upon his election to President in his own right that he would not seek a second term. The fact that he remained true to his word even though he was extremely popular and could have been reelected easily to a second term is an indicator of the character of Theodore Roosevelt.Roosevelt was a political paradox. As a Republican he favored a strong national defense and was responsible for modernizing and increasing the size of the United States Navy. He also strongly favored capitalism and was against any hints of socialism in any form, yet he was pivotal in ushering out the era of laissez-faire economics and fought for stronger government regulation of business through the new Interstate Commerce Act, of which he was a major driving force. In direct opposition to Republican doctrine both of his era and today, he favored a much stronger centralized government.Above all, Roosevelt was both a man of strong character and moral values, and he was a man of action.

In depth history of Teddy Roosevelt's presidency. I learned much about him, and the reasons for what he did. The sportsman and love of the outdoors comes through very strong, which explains why he established so many national parks. He was also unbiased in race relations, being the first person to invite a black man (Booker T. Washington) to dinner at the White House. He also imposed his will on a southern town that forced out their black postmaster. Roosevelt closed the town's post office "until a new postmaster could be found" and forced the townspeople to go 30 miles for their mail. Not surpisingly, they relented.TR also got into a fist fight on his way to Washington DC after McKinley's assassination. Could you imagine that happening today?

This second volume of Morris's three volume biography continues his attention to detail and delivers a very readable and enjoyable history of Theodore Roosevelt's presidency years. Beginning with the aftermath of McKinley's assassination, the book covers TR's completion of the term, his reelection in 1904 and the full term until March of 1909. One is struck by the prodigious work of this amazing man, his political skills, and his particular relish for power. TR certainly was the pacesetter for the 20th century accumulation of power by the executive branch which continues to this day. His use of executive orders resembles the Obama years. I was especially surprised by his diplomatic skills, which seem inconsistent with his domestic tendency to ignore opposition sensibilities. Still, he brought to the international arena the same ability to dominate the news agenda that he demonstrated so effectively at home. His timidity in pursuing his early attempts to address racial issues disappoints, but is probably the clearest example of how all political leaders tend to suborn their best intentions to the vagaries of of politics. I am looking forward to the final volume, especially the election of 1812 and the adventure on the "River of Doubt" in Brazil.

TR's years as President plus some before and after. Interesting to have some insight into how he managed to keep his sight on what he wanted to accomplish and still stay honest to himself. He believed a public servent should not be corrupt. Bully for you TR! Of course he loved the power and the public life that came with being President. He was interesting from childhood though his adult years. This is the second of a series of three by Edmund Morris and he adds a lot to his books with his vivid descriptions of what kind of day it was and the sounds going on...the research must have taken a lot of time. It helps when you have a subject who liked to write letters, books and articles. And his personal diary I'm sure was a huge help. I wish I had just a small amount of TR's ability to read so much and remember all of it. I'm now reading the third book.

I think this ebook is well worth the price. That said I will say that this is not for someone that is new to trading options. The author does not include all the basic information about options which I was thankful for. The writing is clear and concise and includes all the details for entry, trade management and exit requirements. There is only one example for each of the 3 systems but that is enough for an experienced trader. I do think it would have been helpful for the author to include some screen shots of the three trade examples from a trading platform. I have been trading futures, stocks and options for over 20 years and have purchased many books on the subject. This ebook is recommended for the experienced trader looking for a new strategy to trade weekly options. Good luck in your trading!

To me, the book seemed a little pricey, but its well written, and balanced. The author seems to know his subject well. He assumes you already know quite a bit about options and trading, so if you are a newbie you may be a bit overwhelmed. There's not alot of handholding. However, I liked that fact the he starts out by presenting both the risks and the potential benefits of weeklys rather than painting a rosy picture. I was very disconcerted by the fact that his link to more information about the Double Calendar trading strategy was broken. I know most of the basic terminology, but am hardly an expert myself, and am going to have to do some digging to find out about it myself. Added to that, he provides no email or contact information whatsoever. I compare that to Mr. Mark Wolfinger in the Rookies Guide to Option Selling who provides an email address, invites questions, and responds very quickly (I asked him a question once). And his book is real paper, about 5 times as many pages, and only costs a little over twice as much as Mr. Hansen's book. Don't get me wrong. I'm sure I will benefit from Mr. Hansen'swell written & informative book. He's just making me work a lot harder for it.

This book has promise but falls short in a few areas. First as the previous reviewer wrote, the links for details about some of the strategies do not work, so he leaves it to the reader to find other resources to find out more about each strategy. Update, the author references Stocks and Commodities articles about Dan Sheridan. So if you search google you will find the articles he references.Second the writer only shows hypothetical examples (1 each for each strategy). Why? I don't know, but he could have done a much better job if he had included real examples with risk graphs to show how the trades work and when they do not. He is very complete in telling you how to create a list of candidates from all of the weeklies. But there are many. In my experience, you will find a group of candidates that you will trade on a regular basis. So it would have been nice if the author shared his shorter list to start from then take us throughsetting up an actual trade with risk graphs etc.There is no Bio about this writer and no way to get in touch to ask questions, also pointed out by the other reviewer. Bottom line, there is potential here, but he goes 80% of the way when he could have gone much further to make this a better read.

A clear and simple read that is exactly what is publicized. I like the system he has created, and, unlike some of his other "papers," it actually works. Yes, I have some disagreement with the actual options that he suggests using, but basically it can and does make money. I prefer selling strangles, but iron condors are okay.I would like to express a warning: this strategy is not for beginners. Make sure you know what you are doing before trading real money. You can lose a lot of cash quickly.
