I was recommended this book from a friend of mine. My wife and I really enjoy all recipes inside the book.All of the Keto Diet recipes, tips and guides that I need to know about how to prepare healthy and delicious food for my family and friends and stay healthy lifestyle are already included and well-illustrated inside.It helps me know if what I made looks like what was intended. I wish it become very popular and famous.This book is very well written by the author and i highly recommend this book to all of you guys. thanks author, good.

Based on what I had read about this book, I was expecting something that not just included recipes, but also the plan for how to meal prep. While I appreciate the advice on containers and how to freeze, I was hoping more for suggestions on bulk preparation for the week in an efficient way. I am sure these recipes are tasty, but if you are actually following a Keto plan, many of these are not Keto... pasta is not Keto. So, if you are looking for something that will help you prepare KETO meals for a period of time, this is not the book you want!!! Also, it is black and white... I may have missed that in the description.

I want to cook using keto meal prep, because it has several advantages. There are recipes here that are so good that I want to cook everything at once. The recipes are illustrated, the instruction is written affordable. I haven't cooked anything yet, but it looks delicious. I think this book deserves your attention.

Some of the low carb recipes in this book look really good and i will adapt some others to be keto. However things like splenda are not allowed on keto. The point of keto isnt to just eat low carb but also to eat healthy whole foods.

I can say that this Keto Meal Prep cookbook really helps beginners to change their eating habits into a more healthier one and have a better lifestyle. It contains sufficient information about keto diet for you to have better understanding. Recipes are all great and flavorful.

The first step to healing is admitting you have a problem and Steve provides all the evidence Conservatives need to wake up from their fog and admit there is a huge problem that has harmed the movement for decades.I listened to the entire book the day I downloaded it on Audible and I'm looking forward to getting my hard copy so I can read it slowly with pen and highlighter in hand.I can't recommend this book enough. Get a copy for yourself and for a loved one, today!

I received my copy yesterday, and I'm halfway through the book...and I had to force myself to put it down and get some sleep! Steve Deace is conducting an honest, introspective look at his OWN side of the aisle, from the perspective of a political insider! He gives context, and then backs up his facts with citation in a scholarly fashion! Deace doesn't just give his own opinion without providing copious end-notes!! You want to UNDERSTAND the cancer that has infected the Republican party, and the Conservative "non-movement", this book will shake you to your core, and make you look introspectively at some of the myths you believed and were fed over the years. This book is more of an intervention...than it is an opinion. Everyone who values liberty and this nation, needs to read this. If you are a left leaning individual, you need to understand the mistakes republicans, and conservatives have made, and try not to replicate them yourself...for the good of the country and the cause in which you believe. Again...WOW!

I suspect that most people will have a hard time reading "Truth Bombs" because it is the actual truth.That is why most won’t read the Bible because they prefer to stay ignorant. Sometimes the truth is just too hard to take. Remember the quote from Harry Truman,“I never did give them hell. I just told the truth and they thought it was hell.”

Just got my three copies last night so I cannot wait to read one and share the rest with others. Why has it taken so long for someone like Deace to fill us in with historical truth within the framework of the Truth Giver? This is why our Republic has problems.

I first heard Deace on a Des Moines radio station on a 15 minute time slot at noon. I thought he was completely nuts. He talked about what the Republicans were doing wrong. Admittedly, I was one of those who he was talking about on pg 119. It took me, what seems like now a long time, to finally see what he was actually saying and opened my eyes to things I was absolutely blinded by before.Once that happened, I started listening/watching less and less of "conservative" media. I found news in other more reliable places. It allowed me to learn more about what Deace was seeing on the inside and trying desperately to warn other about. It also opened my eyes to the fact that he was a John the Baptist in the wilderness trying to reach others to warn them about what was happening right before their eyes.Not many people have had the opportunity to see the inside workings of the political system like he has AND dare to tell the truth about it. You can ignore him and his book, its your right, but I'm telling you, you will regret it later. And as he says in the end we don't have much time left - It's time for a Hail Mary.We have become good friends and even worked on the same presidential campaign and I believe I know him pretty well when I say he loves this country and is only writing this book because he cares what happens to her. And he is concerned, as am I, that if we don't change, the America we once knew will no longer be there.

The joke here is MOAB is "mother of all bombs." I'm thinking truth bombs are meant to be so disruptive to the senses and conventional wisdom within us that we reconsider our current courses of action as individuals. A four course meal of veracity with an entree of heavy cognitive dissonance, as it were. At any rate, full disclosure, I'm a regular listener to Steve, who is on the air with Todd and Aaron every day on the New BlazeTV (hope you guys like the plug, I'm not even being paid). Part of the show can also be accessed in podcast form using IHeartRadio or some other software which allows podcasts. When I listen to Steve, Todd, and Aaron speak, I feel like my voice is represented most fully. I'm an ordained minister who is a full time IT guy. I spent 7 years of my life with some of the most aggressively and unrelentingly liberal/progressive/leftist people in the country while in school, but am conservative. I found the book to present a compelling scenario. In a nutshell, here's the problem Steve Deace lays out:Exhibit A: The conservative movement. Deace's case is that a conservative is: "Authentic conservatism comes from being an honest student of history. And then, from there, seeking to conserve for this and future generations that which has been revealed by history to be best for humans." (xvi, Truth Bombs)Exhibit B: Postmodernism, the predominant, if not exclusive, epistemology of today's Left. This view holds that truth is created rather than learned. It is inevitable that exhibit a and exhibit b are at odds with one another. (paraphrased xvi)Exhibit C: The Republican party. A party that presents itself as aligned with Exhibit A yet seems to repeatedly further the interests and causes associated with Exhibit B with their actions. The dilemma of these three exhibits is the primary focus of "Truth Bombs," and a common theme in the "Steve Deace Show." So Steve gets an A for consistency on message. If you're a Republican, think how many times our elected officials have promised something only to falter or cave later. This includes repealing the ACA (Obamacare), setting balanced budgets, reigning in the bureaucracy of DC, promising religious liberty, curbing illegal immigration, defunding Planned Parenthood, and these are just off the top of my head in 2 minutes. Yet the alternative, the Democrat Party, is so demonstrably radical that they aren't a viable alternative to any informed citizen that isn't a determined bolshevik (which is ironic given the progressive suspicion of Russians nowadays). That is only moderate hyperbole. Nonetheless, the moral relativism of the Left is palpable, yet simultaneously exculpated and unexamined by those that share their power. This would be fine if it weren't for the almost undeniable fact that the governing class, as well as almost all academia and media, are far more sympathetic to the goals of the latter. True conservatives are seeking a refuge from the deluge of intellectual dishonesty and laziness sweeping the country and hoping to keep some semblance of their own spiritual integrity in that process. That is the heart of Deace's message. It sort of coalesces when he explains the difference between big tent and big tarp (128-129). Another message that resonates with me and that is mentioned about daily in the show also is that the first fix to our problems as a country is a return to Judaeo-Christian truths. My response to this thesis will be the opposite of page 113 in the book:Yes. I am writing a book now on that very subject. It's a philosophical treatise called "Return." It's not nearly as fun as Steve's snark, but it will be the closest thing I have to a legacy. Steve has good "name ID," (40 people know who I am) so I hope he writes a book focused on this premise. In fact, I encourage all writers who believe to call our nation from its secular slumber. It's long overdue and the only definitive cure for the existential lostness that so many in our country feel now.

Love the book and the premise but I was a little confused by one of the pages. Amazon didn't offer a "look inside" option for this book like it did for the author's other book, A For Activist. Because I liked the art and style of A for Activist so much, I decided to just add this book to the order despite not being able to see inside.Not all the pages have the number clearly printed in a predictable way for children to recognize - something I initially overlooked when I received it because it seems challenging to hunt down the message on each page and probably useful for them to recognize the many different forms that numbers come in. Upon further inspection, there are just several very confusing aspects of this book. While I love the art, it is definitely not your standard number book.The number two page references "neighbor friends" but there are 6 people on the page (all mostly in groups of two, all of them potentially "neighbor friends"). Two kids playing in the street, two parents, two babies in strollers. There are also two cars, two trees, two shadows, two birds.The number 5 page has 5 chunks of chalk clearly piled right in the foreground of the picture, under the text. But wait! There's one more chunk of chalk in the child's hand. That makes 6 chunks of chalk on the page. And this will be important later.The number 7 page is the most confusing of all. The text reads "Seven bikes and scooters and helmets to share". I have a lot to say about this page. First. There are 5 bikes and scooters in a pile with one helmet. So you've got 6. But there is also a kid away from the pile riding a scooter and wearing a helmet. So add those and you've got 8. My husband and I have tried and tried and we just can't get a total of 7 anything on this page. I also think it's worth noting that if there are x number of bikes and scooters "to share" there should be that number of helmets as well but I'm more concerned with the fact that there's not a total of 7 things on the number 7 page. I will include a picture of it for your review.The 8 page has 8 picket signs. These "signs" are blank pieces of paper. Just 8 white rectangles situated throughout a mass of people in the foreground of the picture. If you were only looking at the foreground, that would be fine, but all the pages in this book leading up to this one have taught us to hunt down what we are looking for including sometimes stretching the imagination or including things that we did not perceive to be part of the picture. If you look in the background of the image, there are several people with actual picket signs that say things. So there are actually way more than 8 picket signs on the 8 page.Overall, I give the book 4 stars because I value the art and the conversation-with-child aspect of evaluating what is on each page but I feel like as a fundamental numbers book, it is lacking in clarity and consistency and I just couldn't give it 5 stars.

As other negative reviews have stated:The book is *not* perfect. Its clearly not made by a person with a super strong early childhood education background (for example: for #7 there are actually 8 bicycles/scooters/helmets on the page. 7 are on the right page and then there is a girl ridding one on the left page in the background. My 3 year old counted the girl ridding the scooter, thus getting 8 instead of 7 and was confused... most kids will do this. Young children a book like this is intended for are yet able to distinguish between foreground images to count and background images to not count; if its on the page they'll count it).That being said:Just like "A for Activism" (which also has its minor issues), the theme of the book and quality of the artwork is great. I personally cover up the confusing extra scooter for #7 (as well as wrote words on the blank picket signs #8 in order to distinguish them from a person with the same colored shirt confusingly placed in the middle of all the blank white picket signs on the same page) when reading to my child. I hope this author continues to make these books (and continues to refine their knowledge of how early learners see the page!)

Look at the page count and price: Taschen does quality printing, so this is one of the best bargains I've seen among art books. If you want to pick a nit, it's not "coffee table" sized, but plenty big enough to pick out reasonably fine detail in the 'Imaginary Prisons' series. (BTW, seeing some of the original 'Prison' prints at a local museum goaded me into buying this book, for which I'm grateful.) Some pages contain multilingual text rather than art, but not enough to dilute this magnificent assembly of classic engravings.And, without doubt, Piranesa was a true master of engraving. Compared to etching, for example, engravers have delicate and direct control over line weight, which Piranesi used to good effect in wispy skyscapes, dank prisons, and everything in between.All that said, I'm greatly attracted to only a fraction of his prodigious body of work. It all displays technical skill and mastery of form, with impeccable draftsmanship. Much of it, especially details of architecture, comes across schoolbook-dry and without feeling. I know that's completely appropriate to many venues and it's good to understand his most expressive work in the context of these more staid if technically flawless pieces - I still don't respond to the latter the way I do to the former.None of that takes away from the crisp, bright Taschen treatment. It's a beautiful book, and I'm not a bit ashamed of calling out favorities among the hundreds of engravings reproduced here.-- wiredweird

Dry reading, but it'll tell you just about everything you need to know. I appreciate the quick summary at the beginning of each chapter with more in depth knowledge within the chapter. Some aspects of the book feel...choppy? off? not sure what the right word is to describe how I feel about some of the descriptions within the book, but it is a good resource.

This was an assigned text that I had access to via ebook. I liked it so much I bought the hardcopy and it isn't cheap. First of all this is an excellent primer on how health organizations SHOULD be run. It is also a great look into the best of the best and why so many fall short. I will not be gettng rid of this book anytime soon. I have recommended it to at least 4 friends, they all bought a copy based on excerpts I quoted to them. If you are in any field of healthcare management, this book is golden. Too bad it isn't required reading for all healthcare administrators across North America.One more thing... this is probably the most "well written" book I have had the pleasure to read. The topic isn't a grabber. Let's face it, if it isn't part of your daily environment you would never touch this subject. But, this book is like listening to someone who is amazingly smart, experienced and passionate speak about their favorite thing. I couldn't believe I actually read the whole thing.
