It was an excellent coffee table book. The only disappointment.....no American Cocker Spaniels! :)
The book itself was great. However I was delivered an extremely worn down book, meant only for display. All the pages were crinkled and worn down
LOVE this book! My (now) husband and I chose this book to use as our guestbook at our wedding. Guests would write their well wishes on the different pages of the book. The photos are absolutely GORGEOUS! We now have the book on our coffee table and can flip through and read the notes from our wedding guests. I highly recommend it!

As a devoted standard poodle owner, the pairing of show-ready poodles with elaborate topiary was very apt, revealing both the beauty of the dog, and the silliness that that beauty inspires. But you don't have to be a dog lover to love this book -- it is a collection of stunning pictures, beautiful as studies in pure form. I got this as a Christmas present: it's a wonderful gift.
As a kid that grew up reading the Encyclopedia of Dogs, this is a super fun book of dogs!
